Tato diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou ženských hrdinek ve třech románech (Roky v kruhu, Vlčí jáma, Advent) Jarmily Glazarové, české spisovatelky dvacátého století. V první kapitole jsou přiblíženy důvody, pro které si tato práce zaslouží bližší rozbor. Na dalších stranách jsou uvedeny skutečnosti týkající se autorčina života a literární tvorby. Následuje rozbor tří děl. V závěru je shrnutí společných rysů v osudech hlavních hrdinek.This diploma thesis deals with characteristic of female characters found in three novels (The Cycle of the Years, The Wolf Trap, Advent) by Jarmila Glazarová, the Czech writer of the twentieth century. Reasons in the first chapter imply why it is worth to analyse this work intimately. Thereafter, there are facts concerning authoress´ life and literary output. The analysis of three novels follows in the work. Finally, the summary of common features in female characters´ fates.
