Diplomová práce je komplexním nastíněním problematiky postavení a ochrany svědka v trestním řízení. Práce je tématicky rozdělena na dvě části. Na obecnou právní úpravu svědka, rozbor jeho práv a povinností a zásad provádění výslechu svědka. Dále pak na možnosti ochrany svědka formou utajení jeho totožnosti a podoby nebo tzv. nadstandardním způsobem ochrany podle zákona č. 137/2001 Sb., o zvláštní ochraně svědka.The diploma thesis is a complex issue outlining the status and protection of a witness in criminal proceedings. This document is thematically divided into two parts. The first part is about the general rules for a witness, an analysis of their rights, obligations and the principles of implementing the principles of questioning a witness. The second part of this thesis deals with the possibilities of witness protection by a secrecy of their identity and appearance, or so-called top-quality line of protection under the law, Act No. 137/2001 Coll. Special protection of witnesses.
