    Diplomová práce je zaměřena na děti a masmédia. Popisuje dětský věk z pohledu historického i současného. Seznamuje s jednotlivými druhy médií a se způsoby, jakými zasahují do života dětí a mládeže. V empirické části došlo prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření ke zjištění, zda z hlediska kvantity užívání médií dětmi existuje souvislost mezi jejich věkem, pohlavím a rodinným zázemím.This diploma work is focused on children and mass media. It describes child age from the historical as well as contemporary point of view. It introduces different types of media and ways how they intervene in lives of children and young people. It was ascertained in the empiric part through the questionnaire survey whether there is any connection between the child's age, sex and family background with respect to the quantity of child's media usage.
