Diplomová práce se zabývá dětskými krizovými centry (DKC) v Brně. Teoretická část je zaměřena na odbornou terminologii, DKC, jeho vývoj v České republice i ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie, dále zařazením DKC v systému sociálních služeb a legislativou. Další část se skládá z definice jevu ohrožené dítě, jeho příčin, projevů a důsledků a krizové intervence. V empirické části je popsána demografie města Brna a dětská krizová centra v Brně. Pro podrobné zpracování byla vybrána dvě dětská krizová centra, jedno státní a druhé nestátní. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda jsou DKC v Brně využívána, jaké služby nabízí a kdo tvoří jejich cílovou skupinu. Dále práce analyzuje, jaké je povědomí občanů města Brna o existenci DKC.This thesis deals with child crisis centres in Brno. The theoretical part focuses on main terminology connected with a child crisis centre, a development of child crisis centres in the Czech Republic and in selected EU countries, further on a child crisis centre in a system of social services and on legislation. The next part consists of the definition of a phenomenon of a child at risk, its causes, manifestations and consequences, and crisis intervention. The empirical part describes the demographics of the city of Brno and child crisis centres in Brno. Two child crisis centres, one public and one non governmental, were selected for a deeper empirical analysis. The aim was to determine whether the child crisis centres in Brno are used, what services they offer and who their target audience is. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes what the public awareness of the existence of child crisis centres in Brno is.
