Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny specifika farmakoterapie seniorů a problematika lékových interakcí, jejich příčiny, incidence, mechanismus vzniku a důsledky. Pozornost je také věnována lékovým interakcím ve stáří a interakcím léčiv s potravou a tekutinami. Praktická část popisuje výzkumné šetření provedené v souboru 100 pacientů hospitalizovaných na Klinice geriatrie Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc. Ve výzkumném šetření byla provedena analýza podávané medikace, stanoveny potencionální lékové interakce léčiv a jejich stupně závažnosti. Testovány byly čtyři hypotézy. Bylo zjištěno, že počet použitých léků je nezávislý na pohlaví a také nezávislý na věku pacienta. Výskyt potenciálních lékových interakcí závisí na celkovém počtu použitých léčiv, stejně jako jejich potenciální závažnosti. Součástí práce je také informační leták pro sestry s názvem: Stop lékovým interakcím.The diploma paper consists of two volumes: theory and the research part. Theoretical part defines the specifics of geriatric pharmacotherapy and the problem of drug interactions, their incidence, causes, mechanisms and consequences. It also deals with drug interactions in the elderly and interactions of drugs with food and beverages.Research part describes an analysis performed in the cohort of 100 inpatients of the Geriatric Department of the University Hospital in Olomouc, Czech Republic. In this study, all used medication was analyzed and potential drug interactions were identified, as well as their possible severity. Four hypotheses were statistically tested. There was found that number of used drugs was independent on gender and also independent on patient?s age. The incidence of potential drug interactions depended on the total number of used drugs as well as their potential severity. As a part of the diploma paper, an information leaflet for nurses, named Stop drug interactions was prepared and edited.
