Tématem bakalářské práce jsou tři významní představitelé římského stoicismu a jejich etické názory na základní problémy tohoto filozofického směru, kterými jsou osud, ctnost, štěstí, klid, duše a smrt. Cílem práce bylo porovnat a zjistit do jaké míry se názory Senecy, Cicera a Marca Aurelia podobají a pokusit se aplikovat stoické zásady do výuky v současnosti. Jako podklady pro zpracování práce byly použity především díla jmenovaných stoických představitelů, společně s materiály dalších filozofů zabývajících se tématikou stoicismu či antickou filozofií obecněThe topic of this thesis is the roman branch of stoicism and three significant philosophers of this philosophical school and their ethical ideas on the main issues which are fate, virtue, fortune, tranquility, psyche and death. The aim of the thesis is to compare and find out the similarity of the works and ideas of Seneca, Cicero and Marcus Aurelius. To try to apply the stoic principles to the comtemporary school system was another goal of the thesis. The works of the three philospohers named above together with the works of other philosophers concentrated on the antique philosophy were used as bases for this thesis.
