Diplomová práce je zaměřena na syndrom týraného, zneužívaného a zanedbávaného dítěte, jeho následky a prevenci. Práce popisuje, co je úkolem sociálního pracovníka a také krizové intervence. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit jakou má naše současná společnost informovanost o tomto problému. Je napsaná z pohledu dvou stran ? civilního obyvatelstva a Policie České republiky.The diploma thesis is focused on child abuse and neglect syndrome, its consequences and prevention. The thesis describes what the task of a social worker is and also crisis intervention. The aim of this thesis was to determine to what measure our contemporary society is informed about this problem. It is written from the perspective of two sides ? the civilian population and Police of the Czech Republic.
