Cílem této práce je představit osobu prezidenta Edvarda Beneše ze tří pohledů. První část popisuje jasně a přehledně důležité mezníky Benešovy politické kariéry. Druhá kapitola vychází z knihy Demokracie dnes i zítra a snaží se proniknout do Benešova vnímání tehdejší situace a dějinného dění. Poslední část přináší rozdílné pohledy na druhého československého prezidenta očima významných osobností 20. století.The target of the thesis is to bring three different views of the personality of the president Edvard Beneš. The first view shows some important points of Beneš's political career - clearly and digestedly. The second part is based on the book Demokracy today and tomorrow and it gives a chance to look how the president Beneš perceived the situation and historical events. And the last part consists the views of the 20th century notabilities of the second president of Czechoslovakia.
