V práci jsou sledovány současné sociální a psychologické problémy sester a jejich postoje a pracovní chování vztažené k obsahu a kontextu práce. Cílem práce bylo zjišťování vzájemných vztahů mezi pracovní spokojeností, jejími dílčími složkami a psychickým stavem. Zabývali jsme se otázkou pracovní motivace, jejími teoriemi a pracovní spokojeností. Zjišťovali jsme, jaké faktory mohou ovlivňovat postoje sester k práci, motivaci i celkovým psychický stav. Pozornost je věnována role sestry ve společnosti, charakteristice její práce a etickým principům ve zdravotnictví. Věnovali jsme se také problematice syndromu vyhoření, jeho prevenci a významu supervize ve zdravotnictví u zdravotních sester. Výzkumná část byla zaměřena na některé proměnné ovlivňující pracovní spokojenost, postoje k práci a jejich psychický stav. Zkoumaný soubor tvořily zdravotní sestry pracující v intenzivní medicíně.The thesis monitors the current social and psychological problems of nurses, their attitudes and working behavior in relation to the content and context of their work. The aim of this thesis has been to determine relationship between work satisfaction, its detail parts and physical state. There is an outline of the question of job motivation, its theory and job satisfaction. The thesis determines factors which might influence attitudes of nurses toward their work, motivation and their general psychical state. Attention is paid to the role of nurses in society, the characteristics of their work and ethical principles in the heath care. The attention has also been paid to burnout syndrome, its prevention and importance of supervision of nurses in the heath care. The research part has focused on some variable factors which influence job satisfaction, the attitudes of nurses towards their work and their psychical state. The surveyed sampling consisted of nurses working in intensive care medicine.
