Obsahem této práce je fotografie v žurnalistice, její základní charakteristické rysy a požadavky a její spojení s žurnalistickým textem, zejména pak popiskem. Cílem této práce je charakterizovat vztah mezi žurnalistickou fotografickou informací a jejím popiskem. Charakteristika je založena na deskripci teorie vztahující se k samotnému fotografickému obrazu v oblasti žurnalistiky, následně teorie týkající se jeho vztahu s textem a porovnání této teorie se závěry analýzy praktického materiálu získaného ze současných periodik.This thesis is focused on the journalistic photography, its basic characteristic and demands, and its use in connection with journalistic text, especially with its annotation. The aim of this thesis is to describe the interrelationship between journalistic photography and its annotation. The description is based on theory which refers to the photography as it is used in the field of journalism and, consequently, on theory concerned in the interrelationship between the photography and the text. In the final part of the thesis, the theory is compared with the conclusions of analysis based on practical sample from contemporary newspaper.
