Na základě rozboru vybraných kronik byly ukázány stereotypy městského písemnictví. Jednalo se o Olomouckou souhrnnou kroniku z let 1432-1656, Popis pruského obležení Olomouce, Leitmetzerovu Olomouckou kroniku z let 1778-1829 a Příspěvky k charakteristice a poznání hlavního města a pohraniční pevnosti Olomouce od Jana Alexia Eckbergera. Práce se zaměřila na vykreslení dobových záznamů, míry subjektivity autora a podobně.Title of my work is The Problems of urban historiography: Chronicles of Olomouc mainly in early modern period. In my thesis I am trying to show how the chronicles look like, which information includes etc. I only focus on the heretofore capitol city of Moravian margrave ? Olomouc. This work is divided into 5 chapters. First one brings information about list of chronicles, second analyze Olomouckou souhrnnou kroniku z let 1432-1656 Olomouc?s summary chronicle from 1432 till 1656), and third paint Popis pruského obležení Olomouce (Description of Prussians siege on Olomouc), fourth deal with Leitmetzerovou olomouckou kronikou z let 1778-1829 (Leitmetzer?s chronicle of Olomouc from 1778 till 1829) and finally last one consider on Příspěvky k charakteristice a poznání hlavního města a pohraniční pevnosti Olomouce od Jana Alexia Eckbergera (Discourse for characteristic and knowledge about capital city and frontier stronghold Olomouc by Jan Alexius Eckberger).
