Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je podat ucelený přehled o dosavadním socioekonomickém rozvoji města Zábřeh s důrazem na jeho urbanistickou strukturu. Hlavní pozornost bude věnována sociálním, ekonomickým a prostorovým změnám, které ovlivnily jeho rozvoj v jednotlivých historických etapách. Dále bude kladen důraz na jeho současné socioekonomické charakteristiky a jejich srovnání na základě Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů z let 1991 a 2001. Současná prostorová struktura města bude zhodnocena z pohledu sektorové struktury městských funkcí a její fyzická složka z pohledu bytového a domovního fondu. V závěru práce budou shrnuty nejdůležitější problémy rozvoje města z pohledu laické veřejnosti (dotazníkové šetření) i z pohledu autora této práce.The aim of this bachelory work is to evaluate socioeconomic development of the city Zábřeh with an emphasis on the urban structure. Zábřeh in the course of its history, underwent several significant changes. To these changes involved spatial, social and economic factors. The first of the two main chapters dealing with the development of Zábřeh in the past. It is divided into subchapters that describe the socioeconomic development of the city in various stages. The second major chapter deals with the current socioeconomic characteristics of the city, respectively the comparison between the two most recent census. In this comparison was used a number of demographic characteristics. There are also briefly described the most important industrial enterprises in the city, the importance of services and development of unemployment. Section devoted to transport infrastructure is trying to highlight its importance for current and future development of the town. The last chapter examines the most important problems that currently hinder the city in its development. In addition to the author's point of view was given by the subjective views of an area of general public within the questionnaire survey.
