The thesis, dealing with the time geography, has two aims. First of all it tries to document development of time geography as a geographic approach, to describe its basic principles and methods as well as to explain the most frequently used terms. Secondly it uses time-geographic methods on three simple examples which are a part of the practical part. The results achieved in the theoretical part should serve as a simple and comprehensible frame for further research in this field. The results of the practical part are more or less demonstrative.
