Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku předporodní přípravy, její význam a vliv na prožívání těhotenství a porodu. Teoretická část práce se zabývá těhotenstvím a porodem z hlediska fyzických a psychických změn a prožívání ženy. Věnuje se předporodní přípravě, jejím cílům, vývoji a současné koncepci, roli porodní asistentky v předporodní přípravě a požadavkům na osobnost a vzdělání lektora. Praktická část předkládá výsledky dotazníkového šetření prováděného u dvou skupin rodiček. Srovnává názory absolventek předporodní přípravy s názory žen, které se předporodní přípravy neúčastnily. Výsledky výzkumu jsou shrnuty v diskusi a závěru práce.The bachelor thesis is focused on the problems of the childbirth education classes, their relevance and effect on the experience of pregnancy and childbirth. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with pregnancy and childbirth in term of physical and mental alterations and in term of woman´s experience. It attends to the childbirth education classes, their aims, evolution and current conception, to the midwife´s part in the childbirth education classes and to the demands for lector´s personality and erudition. The practical part submits results of the questionnaire investigation which was carried out in the two groups of women in childbed. It compares the opinions of the childbirth education classes attendants with the opinions of the women which did not attend the classes. The research findings are summarized to the discussion and to the conclusion of the thesis.
