Tato práce je zaměřená na saský dialekt a průzkum jeho oblíbenosti. Teoretická část se zabývá objasněním pojmu dialekt, charakteristikou saského dialektu a jeho historickým vývojem. V praktické části je analyzováno vnímání tohoto dialektu obyvateli německé spolkové země Sasko. Cílem práce je ověření údajného negativního postoje Němců vůči saskému dialektu a zjištění možných důvodů, které by k tomuto postoji mohly vést.This thesis deals with the Saxon dialect and the research of its popularity. The theoretical part is focused on the term dialect. It describes the Saxon dialect and its historical development. The practical part is the analysis of how the inhabitants of the German state of Saxony perceive this dialect. The aim of the thesis is to verify the supposed negative attitude of the German people to the Saxon dialect and to find out the reasons for their attitude.
