Diplomová práce si klade za cíl analyzovat hlavní zpravodajské relace České televize a televize Nova z hlediska vystupování jejich moderátorů a moderátorek. Přináší rozbor vyjadřování a stylu komunikace moderátorů Událostí a Televizních novin a upozorňuje na hlavní rozdíly mezi nimi. Pozornost je věnována základním fázím pořadů (začátek, konec, headlines), navazování kontaktu s publikem, vedení živých vstupů s redaktory a verbálnímu i nonverbálnímu chování moderátorů. Analýza je provedena na přepisech televizního vysílání. Všechna data vznikla mezi lednem a únorem 2009. Výsledkem práce je popsání základního komunikačního chování moderátorů českého zpravodajství a vymezení rozdílu v přístupu televize veřejnoprávní služby a televize komerční.The goal of the thesis/dissertation is to analyse the main TV news Broadcast, Czech TV and Nova TV, in light of the Anchorman and Anchorwoman's performance. It brings the analysis of the Czech TV News Broadcaster and Nova TV News Broadcaster's communication style and expression and highlights the variations between them. It pays attention to the main phases of the program (opening, end, headlines), to the contact with the audience, to the lead of the live shots with the reporter and the Anchorman's verbal and non-verbal expressive behavior. The analysis is based on the TV broadcast transcription. All data was gathered between January and February 2009. The most important findings of the thesis is the description of the Anchorman/woman basic communicative behavior and the definition of the different approach between public and commercial TV.
