Práce popisuje příčiny vzniku a zániku K 231, sdružení bývalých politických vězňů. Působil přitom i tlak okupantů. Část členů a především vedoucích představitelů emigrovala. Ti, kteří zůstali byli až do r. 1989 sledováni StB.Among the activities during 1968 in Czechoslovakia, also K 231 started its existence. It was an organization developed by the political prisoners of the end of 1940th and especially of 1950th. The name was brought from the number of the act, according to which they were condemned. These men and women wanted to help the politicians with democratization of Czechoslovakia. They also wanted to prove, the punishment they suffered was unjust. At first the communist party cooperated with them, because the rehabilitation was also in the program of the communists. But after the intervention of the USSR, czech comunists rejected the activity of K 231. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia in August 1968, the organization was abandoned. Some of the members emigrated, some stayed. During ?normalization? they were often discriminated. Also in some foreign countries the K 231 was known in 1968. These were espetially those countires, in which the Czech communities were established.222 Czechs, who lived in western countries sent best wishes and sometimes also money to K 231. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia some of them also helped the ex-members of K 231 who emigrated to start their new life and continue in their work. This work deals with the activities of K 231 in 1968. Since the 31th of March, when it was found until the 4th of September, when it was abandoned, the Club growed as it had thousands members. It organized social activities to make the people know about the injustice they had suffered.
