Bakalářská práce se zabývá osobou Jana Vyhlídala, katolického faráře a moravského spisovatele na přelomu 19. a 20. století, a jeho národopisnými prózami. Práce u vybraných titulů s hanáckou tematikou sleduje, jak se v časovém horizontu od počátku 20. století do třicátých let 20. století měnilo autorovo uchopení a zpracování národopisných látek, formoval pohled katolického faráře na stinné stránky hanáckého venkovského člověka. Samostatný prostor je věnován problematice hanáckých lidových pohádek a pověstí.My bachelor work deals with the character of Jan Vyhlídal, the catholic pastor and the Moravian writer and with his national prose at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. The work traces how the author´s approach and his national subject matter working were changed in the chosen titles with the topic of the Haná´s region at the time period from the beginning of 20th century till the thirties of 20th century and how the catholic pastor´s view of the drawbacks of the Haná´s provincial was formed. The separate part follows the problems of the Haná´s folk tales and legends.
