Bakalářská práce posuzuje kvalitu života pacientů s chronickým selháním ledvin před a po provedené transplantaci ledviny. Skládá se z teoretické části poskytující obecné informace o problematice transplantací ledvin a části empirické, která analyzuje a interpretuje získané údaje popisující kvalitu života pacientů. Výsledky této práce svědčí pro významné zlepšení kvality života osob po transplantaci ve srovnání s obdobím před transplantací především v oblasti ukazatelů spojených s fyzickým zdravím. Pozitivní přínos provedené transplantace v rovině psychosociálních parametrů u zkoumaného souboru pacientů byl ve srovnání s přínosem ve zdravotní rovině méně výrazný. Z hlediska globálního pohledu na kvalitu života nemocných s chronickým selháním ledvin je transplantace nepochybným přínosem.The Bacelor thesis evaluates quality of life of the patients with chronic kidney disease before and after kidney transplantation. It consist of theoretical part providing general information about kidney transplantation and empirical part, which analyzes and interprets obtained data describing quality of life of the patients. Results of this thesis shows important improvement of quality of life of persons after transplantation in comparison with the pre-transplant period especially in the area of parameters associated with physical health. Benefit of transplantation in the field of psychosocial parameters in these subjects was less apparent in comparison with the benefit in the area of general health. In global consideration kidney transplantation is undoubtedly the benefit for quality of life of persons with chronic kidney disease.
