Obsahem bakalářské práce je zmapovat informovanost laické mužské populace o prevenci karcinomu prostaty. Teoretická část se zabývá prevencí, symptomatologií, diagnostikou a možnostmi léčby karcinomu prostaty. Praktická část zpracovává výsledky ze 102 dotazníků, které souvisí s cíli práce. Ukazuje na informovanost respondentů v oblasti prevence a zjišťuje, zda muži znají rizikové faktory tohoto onemocnění a kde je tedy nutné posílit prevenci. Problematika popsaná v bakalářské práci by měla zdůraznit význam a důležitost onkoprevence a přispět ke zvýšení odpovědnosti v péči o vlastní zdraví u mužské populace.The aim of my bachelor thesis is to map the informedness of the laic male population of the prevention of the prostate cancer. The theoretic part involves the prevention, symptomatology, diagnostics and the posibilities of the treatment of the prostate cancer. The practical part treats the results of 102 questionnaires related to the aim of my work. It shows the informedness of the respondents in the field of prevention and traces whether men are familiar with the risk factors of this illness and where it is necessary to strengthen the prevention. The problem described in my bachelor work should emphasize the signification and importance of the oncology prevention and contribute to the increase of responsibility of oneś own health care in the male population.
