Tato práce se zabývá vznikem a vývojem názvů ulic a náměstí města Slaného. Za úkol si klade provést analýzu uličního názvosloví z hlediska významového i jazykového. První část pojednává o dějinách města Slaného. Druhá část rozebírá současné ulice, pátrá po motivační stránce jejich pojmenování v porovnání s historickými souvislostmi. Závěrečná část analyzuje stav pojmenování ulic z hlediska jazykového a významového.This bachelor's thesis is concerned about the genesis and the development of the names of streets and squares in the town Slaný. It's goal is to make an analysis of the street names from the point of meaning and language. The first part dissertes on history of the town Slaný. The second part characterises the current streets and quests for the motivation fot their names in comparison with historical events. The final part analyses the status of street names in terms of the language and the meaning.
