Účelem diplomové práce je poukázat na hudební kvality opomíjeného skladatele Carla Ditterse von Dittersdorf, jenž v minulých desetiletích žel nebyl hudebními vědci zařazen mezi čelní autory své doby. Na úvod práce uvádíme relativně podrobný životopis skladatele pro nastínění jeho dobového společenského postavení a významu v rámci tehdejšího světového hudebního dění. Jako zevrubný komplexní náhled na autorovu tvorbu předkládáme obecnou charakteristiku Dittersdorfových kompozic. Nemalá součást práce je věnovaná operní praxi druhé poloviny 18. století, a to jak provozu jevištnímu tak zejména hudebnímu s následným doložením fakt zmínkami ze skladatelova vlastního životopisu a přiloženým komentářem. Vlastním jádrem našeho spisu je katalog operního a oratorního díla, jak dochovaného, tak i skladeb toliko zmiňovaných v historických pramenech s lokalizací dobového hudebního materiálu. Příloha práce je tvořena názornou fotodokumentací dobových památek souvisejících zejména s operní praxí druhé poloviny 18. století. Obsah diplomové práce má čtenáři přiblížit zapomenuté dílo ztraceného velikána, a to zejména formou katalogizace ve spojení s přehledem evropských archívních fondů schraňujících tyto významné památky.The task of my work is to show the music qualities of a forgotten composer Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf, who was not, in past decades, esteemed as a top composer of his era. In the beginning of this work, we present relatively detailed curriculum vitae of this composer, so as to show his significance in society and his significance in the world of music of his age. Dittersdorf?s compositions are shown in their general characteristics as a complex view at his work. An important part of this work describes especially the music praxis in operas of the second half of the 18th century. Then there are shown some facts, our commentaries and mentions from the composer?s own memories. The catalogue of composer?s operas and oratories is the core of our work. In the catalogue, there are mentioned compositions that are preserved as well as compositions that are mentioned elsewhere but not preserved. A photographic documentation of historical artefacts related to opera praxis of the 18th century is a supplement of this work. The content of this diploma thesis tries to show the forgotten work of a lost giant of the 18th century music especially by the means of catalogued European archive funds that keep these important artefacts.
