Diplomová práce Možnosti aktivizace osob seniorského věku se věnuje problematice aktivního stárnutí v domovech pro seniory. Cílem bylo zaznamenat zájem či nezájem klientů o aktivizační programy a přínos těchto programů aktivního stárnutí pro seniory v domovech pro seniory. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení základních pojmů souvisejících s procesem stárnutí, pohled na stáří z hlediska vývoje a historie, charakteristické rysy seniorské populace, procesy podporující aktivitu, možnosti vzdělávání v postproduktivním věku, institucionální zařízení pro seniory a aktivizační programy. Praktická část se zaměřuje na popis zařízení, kde bylo provedeno šetření za účelem zjistit, jak senioři tráví svůj volný čas. Jde o Domov pro seniory - Brno Věstonický, Boskovice, Letovice a Senior centrum Blansko. Jsou tu prezentovány a interpretovány rozhovory se seniory a zaměstnanci zařízení. Pomocí grafů je tu prezentováno které aktivizační činnosti jsou náplní jejich volného času a zda mají o probíhajících aktivitách dostatek informací nebo zdali je něco, co v zařízení postrádají nebo s čím nejsou spokojeni.In our graduation thesis - ``The Possibilities of Activation of Senior Aged People'q, we addressed the issues of active aging in the senior aged citizen homes. The goal was to record either interest or lack of interest of senior citizens in the Activation Programs, and record the contribution of such programs to the lives of senior citizens in senior aged citizen homes. Theoretical part is focused on definition of basic terms, related to the aging process, and further focuses on an insight of aging from the perspective of evolution and history, and on characteristic attributes of senior citizen population. It also concentrates on the processes that boost the activity, the possibilities of education in post-productive age, institutional facilities for senior citizens, and activation programs. Practical part focuses on description of the facilities that had been inquired in order to explore on how the senior citizens spend their free time. We focused on following senior citizen houses - Brno Věstonický, Boskovice, Letovice, and Senior Center Blansko. Interviews with both the senior citizens and the employees of the facilities are presented and interpreted in this part. We used graphs and other objective tools to present what activation activities are part of the senior citizens lives, whether seniors have enough information about current activities, and whether there is something that the seniors miss in their respective homes, or if there is something that they are not satisfied with.
