V bakalářské práci jsme zpracovali téma týkající se problematiky domova pro seniory jako činitele psychické a sociální stimulace. Teoretická část je shrnutím různých pohledů na stárnutí a stáří. Zahrnuje problematiku somatického, psychického i sociálního hlediska stárnutí osob. Empirická část práce zahrnuje výzkumné šetření realizované prostřednictvím dotazníkové metody. Z prováděného výzkumu vyplynulo, že většina seniorů tráví volný čas pasivně. Aktivní přístup seniorů bývá ovlivněn zdravotním a psychickým stavem a také zažitými stereotypy. Senioři, kteří se do domova přestěhovali vlivem nepříznivé životní situace jsou se životem v domově pro seniory většinou spíše spokojeni. Většina respondentů nejčastěji stýká s rodinou. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že návštěvy rodinných příslušníků a blízkých pozitivně ovlivňují osobnost seniora.In our thesis we have dealt with problems of an old people's home as a factor of psychological and social stimulation. The theoretical part is a summary of various views of ageing and old age. It includes problems of somatic, psychological and social views of ageing. The practical part of the paper includes research realized by means of an interviewing method. The result of the research is that most senior citizens spend their leisure time in a passive way. Active attitude of senior citizens is usually influenced by their health and mental condition and also by their routine stereotypes. The elderly who have moved to old people's homes due to an unfavourable life situation are mostly rather satisfied. The majority of respondents are most frequently in contact with their families. The research suggests that visits of their close relatives positively influence the old person's personality.
