Práce se zabývá německou evropskou politikou v období od sjednocení Německa po předsednictví Rady ministrů Evropské unie v roce 2007. Od poloviny 90. let se v této politice začaly projevovat změny, především v jejím vedení. Hlavní viditelným posunem bylo jiné vnímání evropského ducha Gerhardem Schröderem. Návrat k Německu jako nositeli evropského enthusiasmu je viditelný znovu s Angelou Merkelovou. Celá stať využívá jako teoretické báze konceptu europeizace.This thesis focuses on the German European Policy from the period of the unification of Germany until the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the European Union in the year 2007. Since the mid 1990s, there have been significant changes to the German European Policy. The most visible change was in the style of the policy. Reversion to the traditional Germany can be noted in the programme of Angela Merkels government. It uses the concept of europeanization as its theoretical base.
