Cieľom bakalárskej práce je stručne priblížiť najčastejšie problémy rodín s ťažko zdravotne postihnutým človekom a možnosti riešenia týchto problémov za pomoci osobnej asistencie, ktorá má prispieť k zvýšeniu kvality života človeka s ťažkým zdravotným postihnutím. Poskytuje ucelený prehľad kvality života, foriem sociálnej starostlivosti a práce so zdravotne ťažko postihnutými ľuďmi, ako i problémy rodín žijúcich s ťažko zdravotne postihnutým členom a možnosti ich riešenia prostredníctvom osobnej asistencie.Personal assistance and quality of life of a person with physical or mental disabilities. The aim of this bachelor work is to show a brief overview of the most common problems families who have to care for someone with mental or physical disabilities may have and to then highlight the solutions that can help those problems, possibly with a personal assistant. A personal assistants aim is to contribute to a person's quality of life who may suffer from mental or physical disabilities. Give an integrate survey on the quality of life, forms of social care and work with somebody with either mental or physical disabilities and the families that deal with living with someone with either of these disabilities. Then indicate the possible solutions instrumentally given by a personal assistant.
