Diplomová práce vychází z antického mýtu o Narcisovi a Echó: v teoretické části proměny vnímání a zpracování mýtu a v praktické části jeho prožívání. Teoretická část vymezuje narcismus z hlediska psychologického jako diagnózu poruchy osobnosti, sleduje tendence zobrazování mýtu zejména ve výtvarném umění a věnuje se narcistickému charakteru postmoderní doby. Praktická část dokumentuje prožívání hluboké sebelásky ve formě deseti grafických listů v technice linorytu a strategii prosazování se a získávání obdivovatelů za jedinečným účelem posílení hodnoty ega. Práci uzavírá výtvarně - pedagogický projekt na téma narcismu a objevování vlastního já.My Dissertation work is based on an ancient myth of Narkissos and Echo: in the theoretical part describes changes of reception and processing of the myth and in the practical part its experience. The theoretical part defines narcissism from the psychological point of view as a diagnosis of personality disorder, searches tendences of depicting the myth, particularly in fine arts, and follows the narcistic character of postmodern era. The practical part documents the experiences of deep self-love in a form of ten graphic prints in the technique of linoleum cut, and it also follows the strategy of assertivity and gaining the admirers for the unique purpose to reinforce quality of ego. Dissertation is closed by art and pedagogical project that deals with the theme of narcissism and exploration of Self.
