Tato práce se zabývá objasněním vztahu mezi fotoperiodou a intenzitou projevů potravního chování bobra, a to konkrétně intenzitou kácení dřevin na lokalitě Poděbrady. Data sezbíraná v letech 2006 a 2008 byla analyzována za pomocí programu NCSS 2007. Signifikance regresních modelů byly testovány T-testem při hladině významnosti 0,05, kdy byl pro rok 2008 regresní model závislosti intenzity kácení na fotoperiodě signifikantní. Regresní model tohoto vztahu pro data z roku 2006 ovšem signifikantní nebyl. Výsledky byly porovnány s literaturou. Zjištěné výsledky mohou sloužit při prevenci škod způsobovaných bobrem na dřevinách.The aim of this study is to describe a relationship between the photoperiod and the intensity of beaver feeding behavior, respectively the intensity of cutting trees on Poděbrady site. Collected data from years 2006 and 2008 was analyzed by using statistics program NCSS 2007. A significance of regression models were tested by T-test. With significance level 0,05 was proofed the relationship for data from 2008 but not for 2006. The results were compared with a literature. They can be useful for a prevention to stop damages made by beaver on growth.
