Součástí práce je vliv životních zkušeností Woolfové na její osobnost, pohled na otázku genderu a tvorbu. Práce odhaluje pojetí maskulinity a feminity Virginie Woolfové a příbuzná témata. Na závěr je předložena syntéza získaných a analyzovaných poznatků.The aim of my thesis is to explore the question of gender in the works of Virginia Woolf with special focus on the novels The Voyage Out, Night and Day, Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, Orlando, Three Guineas, A Room of One´s Own and numerous essays. The influence of Woolf´f life experience on her view of gender and her work is included. The thesis demonstrates Woolf´s conception of feminity and masculinity and examines the related themes. In conclusion, the work suggests the synthesis of my findings.
