Práce má dvě hlavní části: teoretickou a aplikační. Část první mapuje základní pozantky týkající se tématu. Část druhá analyzuje autentický jazykový materiál - motivační dopisy zasílané jako reakce na pracovní inzeráty. Autorka zjišťuje, co je pro motivační dopisy z prototypicky konstantní (ritualizace, formulaický jazyk, zdvořilostní aspekty, atp.) a demonstruje tyto jevy na použitých jazykových prostředcích použitých žadateli.The thesis has two main parts: theoretical and analytical. The former summarizes the knowledge relevant to the topic. The latter analyzes the authentic sources - cover letters sent as a reaction to employment advertisement. The author identifies what is prototypically constant for the letters (ritualization, formulaic language, aspects of politeness, etc.) and demonstrates her findings on the language means used by the applicants.
