KS Číny dokázala zúročit zkušenosti získané během asijské krize let 1989-1991. Prezident Jiang Zemin přišel s teorií, která Straně prozatím pomohla vyřešit problém narůstajícího tlaku ze strany soukromého podnikatelského sektoru, který, ač oficiálně odsouván do pozadí zájmů, nabýval na důležitosti. Although the Communist Party of China (CPC) survived, it gained experiences and tried to adapt itself to the new situation in the word. Jiang Zemin, the leader of the third political generation in Peoples` Republic of China (PRC), created concept, which was later accepted to the Party law and to the State constitution, and whis is known as the "Three Represents`` Theory. Thanks to "Three Represents``, it is possible now for private enterpreneurs to join the CPC and participate in government. As well, this theory means, that CPC agreed to represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people of China and the orientations of an advanced culture. This theory brought another piece of democracy to the China's communist system.
