V této práci jsme si stanovili za úkol zkoumat subjektivní tělo, tedy tělo, jímž se orientujeme ve světě. Zároveň prověřujeme hypotézu, podle níž lze svět prožívat a poznávat jen skrze vlastní tělo, a konsekvence, které z ní plynou (především v oblasti psychoterapie). Práce se tedy rovněž zabývá podmínkami možností celkové transformace prožívání. Hlavním pracovním materiálem jsou nám Patočkovy texty věnující se tělesnosti lidské existence. Při tom předesíláme, že tato práce neusiluje o sumarizaci autorovy tvorby, ani o její celkové zhodnocení. Myšlení Jana Patočky jsme si vybrali pouze jako metodologické a tématické východisko ve fenomenologickém zkoumání těla.The goal of the thesis is the inspection of the subjective body - the body which enables human beings getting know their way in the world. We simultaneously try to verify whether the world can be observed and experienced only through one's body. Further on, there are also some practical implications (particularly psychotherapy) being dealt with.Hence there goes under way a conditional survey on possibilities of the total transformation of experience. The main sources for the thesis are Patočka's texts devoted to corporality of a human existence. There must be a thing set straight right away - the thesis itself does not aspire to sum up writer's work or to come up with an evaluation - Patočka's legacy has been chosen only as a methodological and thematic ground in fenomenological inspection of the body.
