Tato práce pojednává o onemocnění respiračního traktu - astma bronchiale a jeho možného vlivu na růst a vývoj dětí. Předkládá základní poznatky o tomto onemocnění a zároveň srovnávací studii astmatických dětí s "normální" dětskou populací. Srovnání se týkalo antropometrických parametrů, somatotypu a tělesného složení. Naměřené údaje byly zpracovány programem Antropo a pomocí normalizačních indexů srovnány s normativy dětské populace. Dále je hodnoceno držení těla u astmatiků a vybrané svalové dysbalance se zaměřením na oblast hrudníku a břicha. Měřený soubor tvořilo 63 astmatických dětí léčených v Lázních Luhačovice, a.s. Tato studie vychází z předpokladů, že rozdílnost daných parametrů je zapříčiněna nejen onemocněním samotným, ale také hypokinezí, která toto onemocnění ve značné míře doprovází.This thesis deals with a disorder of the respiratory track - bronchial astma and its possible impact on the child growth and development. It assumes a basic knowledge of this disease, as well as the comparative study of asthmatic children and "normal`` child population. The comparison involved anthropometric parameters, somatotype and body composition. Measured data were processed using the anthropological software Antropo and compared with normative sof child population throuhg normalization indexes. In addition, the body posture with asthmatics and selected muscle disbalances are evaluated with an emphasis on chest and abdomen areas. The study group was composed of 63 asthmatic children undergoing their spa therapy in Lázně (Spa) Luhačovice, a.s. This study is based upon assumptions that the difference in given parameters is not only caused by the disease itself, but also by hypokinesis that accompanies, to a large extent, this disease.
