Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice informovanosti matek na oddělení šestinedělí v péči o sebe sama a svoje dítě. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je úroveň znalostí a vědomostí matek na oddělení šestinedělí v péči o sebe sama a svoje dítě. Dalším cílem práce je zjistit, kdo matky edukuje na oddělení šestinedělí a jak jsou s těmito informacemi spokojeny. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V první části je popsáno fyziologické šestinedělí, kde je kladen důraz zejména na probíhající změny v tomto období.Vzhledem k tomu, že šestinedělí s sebou může nést i některá rizika, je v této části popsáno i šestinedělí patologické. Dále je zde zmíněna péče o šestinedělku, kojení, základní informace o fyziologickém novorozenci a jeho prvním ošetření na porodním sále, mateřská centra a porodní asistentka v komunitní péči. Praktická část práce je věnována výzkumu pomocí anonymního dotazníkového šetření, který byl proveden v brněnské nemocnici U Milosrdných bratří. Jednotlivé údaje a data jsou zde analyzována a následně zhodnocena. Výsledky z dotazníkového šetření jsou shrnuty v diskuzi a závěru.The bachelor thesis deals with the issues of maternal awareness of self-care and child care in the postnatal department. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain the level of the mothers' knowledge of selfcare and taking care of her child in the postnatal department. Another aim of this thesis is to find out who provides them the information in the postnatal department and whether the mothers are satisfied with this information. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the first part, a physiological puerperium is described with a special emphasis on the ongoing changes in this period. Taking into account that puerperium may entail some hazards, a pathological puerperium is also described in this part it. Also mentioned are nursing care, breastfeeding, initial information on the physiological newborn and his initial care in the maternity ward, maternity centers, and midwife in community care. The practical part is concerned with an anonymous questionnaire survey conducted in the "U Milosrdných bratří" hospital in Brno. Individual data are analysed and subsequently evaluated. The results of the questionnaire survey are summarized in the discussion and in the conclusion part.
