Práce je zaměřena na motivy vstupu do nových náboženských hnutí a na vytváření pouta mezi jedincem a náboženskou skupinou. Cílem bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem si náboženská skupina jedince zavazuje a formuje pocit bezvýhradné loajality vůči skupině. Přibližuji čtyři významná náboženská hnutí - Moonisty, Mormony, Svědky Jehovovy a Adventisty sedmého dne. Na základě analýzy jejich nauk jsem hledala společné rysy a zobecnila mechanismy věrnosti typické pro nová náboženská hnutí vycházející z křesťanských tradic.This thesis is aimed at the motives for the entrance to new religious movements and at the creation of links between an individual and any religious group. The main purpose was to find out in what way the religious group puts anyone under an obligation and how it forms human strong loyalty. This thesis looks closer to four important religious movements - Moonies, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Adventist. Common features are based on analysis their doctrines. The conclusion of this thesis is description of general mechanisms of faith and devotion based on common features of religious theories. These mechanisms can be used for any new religious movements that come from Christianity.
