Tato práce je souborem hlavních událostí z historie anglikánské církve od doby anglosasské až po současnost. Představeny jsou také hlavní postavy, které historii této církve ovlivnily.Práce dále obsahuje také kapitoly o vývoji vztahu mezi anglikánskou církví a Římem a o rozvoji anglikánství ve světě. Ke konci této práce je kapitola znázorňující anglikánskou církev v současnosti, její hlavní charakteristiky, strukturu a počet lidí kteří toto náboženství praktikují.This work presents a summary of the main events in the history of the Church of England from the Anglo-Saxon period up to the present day. Also the main characters who had an impact on the history of this religion are introduced. Further topics related to this subject are discussed, such as the relationship between the Church of England and Rome or the Church of England worldwide. At the end of this paper, there is a chapter which shows this religion today, its members, structure and main characteristics.
