To neodpovídá tradičním stereotypům.This thesis deals with the analysis of men gender stereotypes observed in a full-page advertisement published in an exclusive magazine for men - Esquire in the first half of the year 2006. The paper is based on the paradigm of social constructivism and within its frame it defines basic gender concepts and categories. It also refers to advertisement itself and its psychology. But the main focus of the thesis is on the analysis of thirty one advertisements, in which at least one man appears. By the qualitative content analysis it was found out that there are still gender stereotypes maintained, namely if there is a woman with a man on the photo. In advertisments there is also an element of care of the look perceptible, a part of advertising is focused on cosmetics and parfumes promotion. This doesn't correspond to traditional stereotypes.
