Práce se zabývá tématikou žurnalistické fotografie, a to jak po stránce teoretické, tak po stránce praktické. Práce je v tomto duchu i členěna. teoretická část se věnuje jednotlivým fotožurnalisckým žánrům a praktická část tyto poznatky demostruje v českém periodickém tisku.Work attends to the problems of journalistic photography, the target is to substantiate the photojournalism as an independent branch of journalism. The work is divided into two parts - theoretic and praktical. Theoretic part deals with description of the pictures and their genre classification. Practical part deals with title photographs obtained from Mladá fronta Dnes and structures the photos according to the categorization in the theoretic part.
