Práce zpracovává operu Bianca und Giuseppe oder Die Franzosen vor Nizza od Jana Bedřicha Kittla. Jedná se o revoluční operu z roku 1848, proto byla práce založena na porovnávání revolučních prvků obsažených v opeře s tehdejšími operami, ale i hudebním materiálem pocházejícím z období Velké francouzské revoluce (1789). Práce obsahuje životopis J. B. Kittla, analýzu opery (hudební i dějovou - libreto), pojednání o vztahu Richarda Wagnera k českým zemím a Kittlově opeře a nakonec práce poukazuje na kontext Kittlovy opery v českých zemích, tzn. co jí předcházelo a co po ní následovalo.The master thesis deals with opera Bianca und Giuseppe oder Die Franzosen vor Nizza by Jan Bedrich Kittl. The opera comes from the revolutionary year 1848, therefore the main point of the thesis is based on comparison of revolutionary elements with the contemporary operas as well as with the musical material coming from the French Revolution (1789). The work contains the CV of J. B. Kittl, analysis of opera (music as well as the plot - libretto), Wagner's attitude to Bohemia and to Kittl's opera. Finally, the thesis point out which operas preceded Kittl's opera and which followed it.
