Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou profesionální image sester, pohledem zdravotních sester na ošetřovatelskou profesi. Teoretická část je zaměřena na osobnost sestry, popisuje její role, profesní chování, jednání a faktory ovlivňující profesionální image sestry. V praktické části jsou předkládány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, provedeného v lednu 2008 u zdravotních sester na vybraných pracovištích FN Ostrava. Cílem tohoto šetření bylo zmapovat názory a pohled sester na masmédia a prezentaci ošetřovatelského povolání ve společnosti. Zjistit úroveň sebevědomí sester a vztah k jejich profesi. Posoudit aktivitu sester v oblasti vylepšení profesionální image, odhalit a zmapovat negativní faktory ovlivňující práci sestry. Výsledky šetření jsou shrnuty v diskusi a závěru práce.The bachelor's work dwells on the nurses' image of thein profession and on the view of nurses on their nursing profession. The academic part focuses on the personality of nurse, it describes her role, her behaviour in work, her actions nad the elements influencing her image at work. The operative part includes the outcome of the questionary research executed on nurses working in selected workplaces of FN in Ostrava in January 2008. The aim of this work was to survey the opinions and views of nurses on masmedia and the presentation of nurses` work in the society. It should have also indentified the standard of nurses` selfconfidence and the reference to their work. Another aim was to judge the activity of nurses in the area of the improvement of the image of their profession, detect and survey the negative elements influencing the work of nurses. The results of the research are summarized in the end of the work.
