Diplomová práce charakterizuje základní pojmy v oblasti sociální péče pro mentálně retardované. Cílem práce je jednak poskytnout ucelenější přehled informací o lidech s mentální retardací, o sociálních službách a o pobytové sociální péči pro tytro občany. Dále pak diagnostikovat vlivy pobytové sociální péče a ukázat širší veřejnosti její silné i slabé stránky. Ve druhé části práce je případová studie klienta týdenního stacionáře.The thesis characterizes basic expressions in the field of social welfare for the mentally disabled. The goal of the thesis is to provide global overview about people with mental retardation of social services and residential social welfare for these citizens. Furthermore to diagnose influences of residential social welfare and to show the broader public their strengths and weaknesses. In the second part of the thesis is the casual statistics of clients with weekly social welfare insitution.
