Bakalářská práce by měla představit netradiční pohled na dílo Charlese Chaplina, která bude hodnocena skrze zobrazení ženských postav. Ženské postavy mají v Chaplinových filmech důležitou, ale dodnes odbornou kritikou a historiografií málo reflektovanou funkci. Na základě podrobné analýzy narativní a stylistické výstavby autorka přiblíží různé role, které žena v těchto filmech zastává.The work focuses on image of woman in films of Charles Chaplin. It defines the basic rules and follows the developement of depicting of woman throught whole Chaplin?s career. The work mentions and analyzes several films important for this theme. The chapters primarly discourse depicting of woman but we can find there other informations about films for example plot or background of the rise of the film.
