Diplomová práce je věnována problematice nekonečna ve školské matematice. Po historickém úvodu a seznámení s možnými kategoriemi nekonečna v matematice se věnuji reflexi pojmu nekonečna ve školské matematice. Zabývám se zde otázkou, jak je nekonečno prezentováno na ZŠ, SŠ a VŠ. Výzkumná část zjišťuje představu žáků a studentů o nekonečnu - která představa nekonečna převládá, zda potenciálního nebo aktuálního, jestli si žáci a studenti uvědomují přítomnost nekonečna ve školské matematice a zda tato představa může být ovlivněna věkem a pohlavím respondentů. V závěru práce jsou pak shrnuty výsledky mého výzkumu.In my thesis, I deal with the issue of the infinity implicate in the mathematics curriculum. The thesis begins with a historical background and a specification of concepts of the infinity in mathematics. Then the reflexion of the infinity in the mathematics curriculum is analysed. The research part elicits the pupils´ ideas of the infinity - whether the idea of potential or actual infinity predominates. Moreover, the question of pupils´ awareness of infinity in school curriculum is examined together with the age and gender influence on the pupils´ ideas of the infinity. The conclusion of the thesis gives a summary of the results of the research.
