Diplomová práce zkoumá církevní život ve Fryštáku v celé jeho celistvosti a rozmanitosti. Téma je zpracováno především na základě výzkumu archivních pramenů z různých církevních institucí, které zde v popisovaném období působily. V textu je věnována pozornost i analýze různých problémů a komplikací, které se popisovaném období vyskytovaly. Tato analýza je provedena především na základě srovnávání různých pramenů. Cílem práce bylo popsat a zhodnotit činnost jednotlivých "církevních složek`` v obci a jejich vztahy, ať už mezi sebou navzájem nebo jejich kontakt s místní politickou reprezentací a vůbec celou společností.The thesis Church life in Fryšták in years 1900 to 1927 addresses to a descripture and an evaluation of events and relationships, whose participants were ecclesiastical institurions, which functioned in the represented period in town of Fryšták: the parish, the monastery with church schools and clubs. The introductory part briefly outlines the history of the parish and of the local church life before 1900. The relationships between these institutions and local political representatives (between the autonomy of Fryšták and surrounding communities), the attitude of the local community toward the Catholic Church, the existence of the new Czechoslovak church whose community arised in Fryšták at the beginning of twenties of the 20th century, are part of the theme. The essay also includes and reflects in its content a number of negatives and problems which accompanied some of the described events. The author's intention was to present church life of this community as objectively as possible and to introduce it as a dynamic progress. A big contribution and a range of accomplishments of the local community on one side and numerous problems and conflicts, which do not have to be understood unambiguously negatively, on the other side, are part of this progress. The thesis originated from a research of archival sources of a different origin. Most of them came from archival funds of institutions, with which the essay deals. But it meant the selection of these sources. Therefore it is possible to continue in deeper research of these questions.
