Tato práce analyzuje prozaickou tvorbu Zdeňka Jirotky. V úvodní kapitole seznamuje čtenáře s autorovým životem a dílem. V dalších částech se podrobněji zabývá jeho romány a povídkovými soubory, odhaluje Jirotkův kritický postoj k žánrům populární literatury, popisuje prostředky komiky v jeho prózách a hledá příčinu zastínění většiny Jirotkových děl jeho populární románovou prvotinou. Autorčino stanovisko k této skutečosti je vyjádřeno v závěru práce.The author of this work analyses here the creation of Zdeněk Jirotka. In the opening chapter she acquaints readers with author´s life and work. In the following chapters she is engaged in his romans and collections of short stories, she uncovers Jirotka´s critical attitude towards genres of popular literature, she describes resourses of the comic in his proses and she seeks the reason of overshadowing the most of Jirotka´s creation with his popular roman debut. The attitude of this work´s author towards this fact is expressed in the close of this work.
