Karcinom prsu je nejčastěji se vyskytující onkologické onemocnění u žen v České republice i v rozvinutých zemích obecně. Svými důsledky zasáhne do všech oblastí života ženy. Jeho léčba přináší řadu komplikací, které lze příznivě ovlivnit rehabilitací a fyzikální terapií. V první části uvádím obecné informace týkající se karcinomu prsu. V druhé části se zaměřuji na rehabilitaci po chirurgickém odstranění prsu. Třetí oddíl je zaměřen na problematiku lymfodému, coby nejčastěji se vyskytující komplikaci léčby. V poslední části je uvedena kasuistika pacientky s návrhem krátkodobého a dlouhodobého rehabilitačního plánu.Breast carcinoma is the moust frequent cancerous disease of women in the Czech Republic and in developed countries in general. By its consequences it interferes in all spheres of the woman´s life. Its treatment brings about many complications that can be influenced favourably by rehabilitation and physiotherapy. In the first part I have introduced general information concerning breast carcinoma. In the second part I have concentrated on rehabilitation following surgical removal of the breast. The third section is focused on lymphodema problems as the moust frequent complication of treatment. In the last part the patient´s case report with a proposal of short-term and long-term rehabilitation is included.
