Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice humanitární intervence a její pozici v současném mezinárodním právu veřejném. Po analýze pramenů mezinárodního práva a praxe států po roce 1945 dospívá autor k závěru, že institut humanitární intervence stojí mimo rámec mezinárodního práva. Na uvedeném nic nezměnil ani přístup mezinárodního společenství k situaci v Dárfúru.The bachelor thesis considers the dilemma of humanitarian intervention and its position in current public international law. Through analysis of international law sources and practice of states after 1945 author concludes, that the institute of humanitarian intervention falls outside the scope of current international law. This conclusion have not been changed neither by international community´s approach towards Darfur.
