Diplomová práce se zabývá subkulturou mládeže známou pod názvem freetechno. Výzkum byl založen na narativní metodologii. Výsledky ukazují, že v životních příbězích technařů převažují témata sdílení (orientující ke komunitě) nad tématy aktérství (orientující k individualitě). Freetechno je uspokojuje především díky funkci proti-stresového nárazníku ve formě strukturální opory. Identifikoval jsem 4 typy technařů: pro 1. je freetechno posilujícím odpočinkem a tím i úspěšným kompenzačním únikem od reality, pro 2. je úspěšnou kompenzací jejich životních problémů, pro 3. je nadbytečným a nekonstruktivním únikem, a pro 4. životním stylem a cestou k povznesení sebe i společnosti zároveň.The master´s thesis deals with youth subculture known as freetechno or rave. The research was based on narrative methodology. Results indicate that in raver´s life stories prevail themes of communion (directing at community) over themes of agency (directing at individuality), freetechno satisfies them primarily for its function of antistress buffer as a form of structural support. I identified 4 sorts of ravers: for the first group rave is both strengthening leisure and succesfull compensatory escape from reality, for the second grouprave is succesfull compensation of their life problems, for the third group rave is excessing and non-constructive escape from reality, and for the fourth group rave is their lifestyle and a way of enhancing both themselves and the society.
