Záměrem výzkumu bylo zjistit aktuální stav sebepojetí mužských a ženských vlastností některých studentů UP a zjistit, zda se tyto charakteristiky vyvíjejí v průběhu času. Výzkum se tedy zaměřil na to, které položky dotazníku BSRI se podle dosaženého průměrného skóre ukáží jako klíčové a zda existuje statisticky významný rozdíl mezi průměrnými skóry maskulinity a feminity a rozdíl v průměrných skórech jednotlivých položek inventáře BSRI u studentů prvního a čtvrtého ročníku. Do výzkumu bylo celkem zahrnuto 69 studentů ze čtyř fakult Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci. Pro sběr dat byl použit Inventář sexuálních rolí BSRI (Bemová, 1974). Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že studenti prvního a čtvrtého ročníku se významně nelišili ve skórování v dotazníku BSRI, ať už v celkových indexech nebo mezi jednotlivými položkami.The intention of research was to find actual self-concept of masculine and feminine traits by the students of Palacký University Olomouc and verify if there is any change in time path. The research was focused on characteristic which by the average scores will be significantly different between the first and fourth class students and if there is a difference in average indexes reach in BSRI Inventory. The total number of 69 male students were studying at four various faculties of Palacký University Olomouc. Bem Sex Role Inventory (Bem, 1974) was used for the purposes of the research. The results showed that there is no significant difference between the students of the first and fourth class in the total indexes and as well between the characteristics of BSRI Inventory.
