Cílem práce bylo zjistit, do jaké míry prožívají lidé se závislostí na alkoholu pocit smysluplnosti života a zda se v této míře liší od běžné populace. Dále se výzkum zaměřil na otázku, zda dochází během ústavní léčby ke kvantitativním změnám v tomto prožívání. Výzkum byl proveden u 62 osob, které se léčily se závislostí na alkoholu ve vybraných psychiatrických léčebnách v Česku a na Slovensku. Pro sběr dat byl použit standardizovaný dotazník Logo-test (Balcar, 1992). Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že pacienti, kteří se léčili ze závislosti na alkoholu, se na počátku léčby významně nelišili od běžné populace v míře prožívání smysluplnosti. Byl však zjištěn signifikantní rozdíl v míře prožívání smysluplnosti na počátku a na konci léčby. U 39% pacientů došlo během léčby ke zlepšení prožívání životního smyslu, u 13% ke zhoršení a 48% zůstalo beze změny.The aim of the thesis was to find out how much feel alcohol addicts meaningful in their life and if they vary in this degree from ordinary population. Next focus of research was on question, if there is a quantitative difference in this feeling between the state in the beginning and state in the end of the treatment. Research was conducted on 62 alcohol addicts who undergo medical treatment in chosen psychiatric clinics in Czech and Slovakia republic. For data collecting was used standardized questionnaire Logo-test (Balcar, 1992). Results of the research prove that the alcohol addicts didn't statistically significant vary from ordinary population in the feeling meaningful in their life. The significant difference was found between the state in the beginning and state in the end of the treatment. 39% of patients have improved, 13% have become worse and 48% haven't change.
